Ketchum, Idaho — April 6, 2025, Idaho has made history as the first state in the nation to enshrine sweeping protections for personal medical autonomy into law.
Hi MAA. Hope you are maintaining under circumstances that are profoundly disruptive and forever saddening. We all miss you and send good thoughts your way. Good to see you in the notes here. R
You rock Leslie, we need this here in BC, Canada in a big way, before the next big scam comes along. How’d you accomplish this great feat there in little old Idaho?
Congratulations to you, Leslie, and to all the constituents of the state of Idaho. I talked to you briefly at the WAPF conference. I still want to be you when I grow up.
Prohibiting mandates is different than access to medical interventions so apples and oranges. BUT I believe legislation did pass to make ivermectin OTC.
Leslie - Most sincere Congratulations from South Dakota!! This is fabulous news. Have been hoping and praying this would come to pass. Thank you ever so much for all of your hard work and dedication on behalf of us all. My heart goes out to you for your courage and unrelenting efforts!!!
Happy Dance over here in the Midwest for you Leslie! And all now free-er Idahoans. Let’s hope this is as infectious as the ‘novel’ pathogen of 2020, sweeping the nation.
Hi, Leslie. I recently discovered you on a podcast; can’t remember which one. Thank God for you and your hard work. What is your suggestion on how others states get this type legislation passed? Thank you.
We are putting together a model bill with a packet to support others in doing this in other states so please stay tuned. It will be a hosted and announced on the HealthFreedomDefense.org website most likely under the Resources tab within a week or two so please check back. You can sign up for our news letter to stay in touch.
Leslie, I assume you are speaking of the amended bill in response to the governor's veto. The amended bill was sent up to the governor on April 4, but I can find no source that he has signed it. Did he? Is there a news source somewhere? If this has actually gone through, this is a tremendous achievement for which you should long be feted. Fingers crossed.
Yes he did. There were three iterations of the bill - the final version, the best version, passed. He signed it late Friday. It's S 1210 - the very last bill he signed of the session.
Leslie, I am so pleased. Profound congratulations. None of the news searchers could find that which is why I asked. That is wonderful. Will spread it far and wide. Opening the door a crack is the first step to flinging it open. Hooray for the Good Guys and Gals. :) R
You are so sweet - thank you so much, Rosemarie!
WOO-FREAKING-HOO, and congratulations, brave and brilliant Leslie!!

Thank you! Many years of work in the health freedom arena and the time was ripe for this legislation to pass in Idaho. This is just the beginning!
Dear, dear, very dear Leslie Manookian— BRAVO and my profound thanks!!!!

Great accomplishment
Wonderful news! I hope all states follow suit.
Then we can expect Idaho to allows OTC ivermectin? Soon? I’m in Oregon and would happily road trip for a supply.

This is awesome! Can we get this in the State of Maine please!!
Wondering if this is real or another mirage in the desert:
"Deborah Conrad was a Physician Assistant for 21 years…until she was publicly walked out of and fired from Rochester Regional Health.
Why was she fired?
She reported adverse events from the COVID-19 shot to the VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System).
...
Although there hasn’t been a ruling yet, we are optimistic and expect a ruling in the next two weeks." (posted May 7, 2025)

Sorry, I'm not up to speed on this case or where it stands.
I happened across that when I looked at Warner Mendenhall's substack.
Then I happened to check RSS feeds and found this from Health Freedom Defense:

I did an interview with him as I had heard about the hospital data in NY and wanted to share that but I am not informed about all his cases.
FYI - just read this on Dr lawsuit of CDC

Fantastic work, Leslie! Thank you for what you’ve done!
Link is gone... hmmm
Oh wow. Amazing! I had not heard! Assumed it would go back to senate and house to battle Gov veto.
